APW - E Howard & Co, Boston, series VII, hound grade, N-S (just over 19S), heavy 14K EH&Co original HC with beaded bezel, 1889 presentation on gold cuvette, SW-SS, WE-SSD, lever escapement, 15J, GJS, parallel double-arcaded pattern NI damascene, s#212729. Gross weight of assembled watch 86.7 dwt (134.8 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, excellent mvt condition overall, many MFS; dial with forked hl at 7; hands excellent; case shows medium wear, many MFS, no dents but several dings, especially to back, ET detail vanishing in back, fading in front, gone at back shoulder; bow tight, thinned apex, crown shows light wear and break; good glass crystal.
